Mauricio Sabogal appointed Global CEO, Kinetic Worldwide

tenthavenue announced today that Mauricio Sabogal is joining Kinetic as the new Global CEO. Mauricio will start with Kinetic the 2nd week of July and will be based in New York.

Mauricio has dedicated more than 25 years of his career to the areas of media and marketing research, and was named “the most powerful Latino in the media agency business” by Advertising Age magazine. In his previous role as Global CEO of BPN (part of IPG Media Brands) Mauricio built a global network which was awarded in its 1st year with more than 15 awards, including two Gold Lions in Cannes, Grand Prix at the Internationalist and Gold in Festival of Media, being IPG Mediabrand’s most awarded agency in global festivals in 2013.

Previous to this role, Mauricio was President, World Markets at IPG Mediabrands; CEO of OMD Latin America and prior to that was the CEO of MindShare Andina. While both of us were at MindShare, Mauricio developed one of the first Outdoor measurement system based on GPS technology that was the base for the creation of Portland Outdoor (which became Kinetic on the merger with Poster Publicity) in Latin America, including, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Mexico. Prior to that Mauricio was at Nielsen.

Mauricio, brings a mixture of Creative and Media expertise; backed up with a background in Research and Data, to Kinetic and tenthavenue.
